In Which I Do Not Accept a Culinary Kobayashi Maru

Okay so I do not feel well. I've had a fever for the last twenty-four hours and it makes me want cool things.

So I put a banana in the freezer. (Look cold bananas are like ice cream, ok?)

Well, I 1) forgot to take the peel off and 2) just forgot about it.

Well then I remembered and it was hard as a rock, so then I put it in a bowl of water to thaw.

And forgot about it again.

(Look, this is why you don't operate heavy machinery when on meds, 'kay?)

So then later I remembered and it was all soggy. So I contemplated what to do with a single, mushy banana with what I had in my kitchen that required little effort.

So I decided to cook some rice and add it to the pot.



It's kind of like a banana risotto? It's actually pretty good. Needs a little something. But yeah.

This is going to sound so weird, but try adding a dash of salt and a dash of cinnamon. More cinnamon than salt. :3

Not convinced about the cinnamon, but that's generally not my favoritest flavor for sweets.

That said, I'm thinking coconut would be amazing. Alas, I do not have any coconut, but NEXT time I make this..!!!
