Good News!

1) Just turned on the heating to my house. (Look, this is TEXAS, I'm EXCITED about this!)

2) My Dean found me this afternoon and said my tenure vote was 80 % positive and my case would go forward. FUCK YEAH!

I turned my heat on today too, actually. It's in the forties here in Cary, NC. It all of a sudden went from being super nice to being awful.

I know! I freeked on Thusday night when they said we were getting SNOW over most of oklahoma! Then 64 was just too cold! I turned up the stat and tossed three blankets on the bed. Now to snuggle up and play my Star Trek audiobook.
