Belated Bragging

I've had a kind of crummy week, due to horrible cramps, lack of sleep, lots of work, etc, but I want to belatedly brag on Scott for being the wonderful man he is. Not only does he put up with my moodswings, but since I worked on Valentine's Day night he made a point of coming down on Wednesday night for belated celebrations (even though he says we weren't celebrating Valentine's, we were celebrating President's Day. Early.). This basically meant him not getting here until almost 8pm, then because we both have to get up early going to bed at like 10, and up at 6. But he did, cos he's awesome that way.

And here's the biggie: he gave me a diamond necklace. He says they're just "grad school diamonds" cos they're small, but well they're real and they are very pretty and needless to say I was wowed.

I'd say what I got him but well it hasn't come yet. In fact they didn't even ship it until today. Grr. But he'll like it. :)

Anyhow, he'll be here in about an hour or so, and we'll have chinese food and Battlestar Galactica. Let's hear it for geek love!!

Aaawww, the cuteness!

Diamonds are a girl's best friend, y'know :) And it's hard not to think well of man who gives you shiny things.

Scott's such a good guy. I've been such a crankybucket this week and he's all soothing and with the shiny rocks. Anyhow we're going to see about making sushi tomorrow: wish us luck!! :)

Let me know how it goes! Am most curious, and have been wanting to make sushi for...well, ages now. Raw fish + rice + toasty seaweed = the YUM.
