I have come to the conclusion if this whole librarian thing doesn't work for me I have a brilliant future as a cook/comedian. You think Julia Child dropping the chicken was funny? Try making fudge, stepping in chocolate, and getting chocolate footprints all over the kitchen floor as you run about mixing and melting things before the smoke detector goes off. Oy.

Xmas updates:

Cards have been purchased. They will be written, um, by the end of the week maybe??

Fudge has been prepared for my student workers/coworkers. Pity them.

I have also made a humongo stock pot of veggie soup to get me through the winter. I really wish my Mom's recipes fed less than ten.

I'm trying to get Scott to believe that Superman Returns is the perfect Christmas movie and he should watch it with me, as it is more boy-friendly than say Love Actually. It's also Jesusier than The Nativity Story. You know it.
