This week just keeps getting better

Just talked to my Mom, who told me my uncle died suddenly this morning.
We weren't very close or anything, he smoked like a chimney and was convinced the Democratic party were going to make slavery reparations and he'd have to pay for every black person in America to have 40 acres and a mule when he only had two acres and all kinds of crazy stuff (and yes he'd go at length about it while smoking and breathing with his oxygen cannister, without irony). But familial death is still a bummer, isn't it.
Grr. In other news, I finished my damn paper, and woke up at 3am but was able to get a catnap this afternoon. It looks like Xmassy things are still on for this weekend: I have to have SOMETHING to look forward to...
