Gosh It's Gray Here

I'm back in Maryland, amazed once more by the lack of color. Y'know, I don't think I was depressed before at having to miss my family's Easter celebrations, but between being by myself, it being this gray, and that nice little $200 bill from the doctor who never even SAW me back in January, I feel darn sulky.

Think happy thoughts, right? Right!

So my happy thoughts right now are to maybe have a chocolate egg and go watch some Firefly. Because Whedony things don't cure everything but they sure as hell help!

Some people spend their religious days in church and stuff, I spend mine watching Firefly commentaries. *G* Whedon's commentary on "Objects in Space" made an awesome episode even more awesome. And apparently I really need to read more Sartre. Um yeah.

Getting increasingly excited about Friday. It will be awesome to see Jim, Carolynn, and Eric again, plus there will be sushi and dancing!! Even Jim's going to dance, YAY!!! *happy Snoopy dance of joy!!*

I've done some homeworky things today, but I reckon I can be forgiven for not doing more on account of the 1) delayed train and 2) holiday all by myself. (My roomies don't count. Particularly as they washed their dog in my bathroom and left an extra big mess *I* have to clean up. They're running water anyway, why can't they run enough extra to get rid of the dirt splatters?? People. Yeesh!)
