Step 1: Read relevant articles.

Step 2: Check email.

Step 3: Check laundry.

Step 4: Check email again.

Step 5: Look at listserv people's links to archival mascots and rodent control officers, i.e. cats.

Step 6: Have early lunch, followed by dish-washing.

Step 7: Check laundry again (still not dry).

Step 8: Watch ST:TNG reruns. Be reminded of how silly but still fun they are.

Step 9: Read news.

Step 10: Check email.

Step 11: Give up and actually start writing...

Paper Update

For the record, before bedtime, I am halfway through the bloody thing and hopefully will get it finished this weekend.

Due to rotten personal circumstances, my Union Station outting has been cancelled, which I'm sad about. But sushi is still on, for which I'm glad, as Jim needs lots of cheering (well some cheering...it's only seven days now til his girlfriend (*G*) visits.

Anyhow, back to work, feeling funky.
