My Most Excellent Birfday!

Many thanks to Jim, Lucy and Paula for my awesome birthday outting! We went to see Madagascar which was hysterical and then had dinner at Hanamura. Jim was kind enough to treat me and I had awesome sushi and katsu don. It's not quite Sushi King orgasmic (and poor poor Jim, they were out! :( of uni!!!) They had all sorts of different sushi rolls and if I only had intestine enough I could've gone nutso. As it was I had the bagel roll, which was salmon and cream cheese and just extraordinarily nummy! Jim let me have some of his dragon roll which was yummy too and looked awesome! Poor Lucy and Paula, who aren't sushi fiends like us, just shook their heads at us.

We went back to Jim's to enjoy the excellent cake Lucy made, and I blew out all my candles in one go WITHOUT spitting (not that I would, but Lucy spaced them out a lot just to tease me), so go me! I really hope this year is very good--I've had a really bad, horrible year in many ways, as you all know more or less, but really good too in I fully know and appreciate what extraordinary and awesome people all my friends are! They've been there for me in deeply shitty times, and are just amazing folks all around!!

So here I am at 24. I don't feel any older or wiser, but this year I'm looking forward to some big changes in my life, and I have no doubt that with my friends, I can totally kick ass! :)
