God it's gorgeous out!
Mar. 13th, 2006 11:17 amI think I may go take a walk to the zoo or something after I've gotten my errands done. It sucks that after today the weather is supposed to turn crappy again. Grr. Shtoopid spring.
Yesterday Scott and I bopped around DC, taking a walk through Rock Creek Park and then going downtown to see the Dada exhibit (Dada makes him gaga, I think its blahblah). We stumbled across an early St. Patrick's Day Parade, which was random and enjoyable--the first float we saw was by the Fulan Gong, which we're not sure who/what they are, except the float had a bunch of guys (mostly Asian and 1 white guy) in Chinese outfits looking martial artist-like, and women with fans doing funny a funny walk-dance. Then there was the North Virginia Corvette Club, which were just people with Corvettes. Etc. Very funny.
I think I've given up on doing book reviews for everything I read. I just haven't read anything super-impressive lately, except Frank Miller's Sin City books, which rock.
