A Puppy Followed Me Home

So I was walking home after work this evening when a very friendly, collarless puppy ran up to me and greeted me. Then he jogged down the street, dodging a car, walking innocently in the middle of the road as three cars followed him. I decided to cajole him to the house, where Scott and I led him into the backyard and gave him a bowl of water and a dish of dry catfood, as that is what we have on hand for pets.

He is behaving quite well so far. Animal Control didn't pick up the phone, so we emailed them that we found a dog wandering around Nagle St. Scott's going to make some "Have you seen this dog?" flyers tomorrow.

He is a teenage dog, very friendly. Scott thinks he is some kind of mix of white lab and dane. He has very tall legs and a thick chest. He's thin but not unhealthily so.

We hope this story has a happy ending one way or another.
