I did not know this book existed.

I somehow find it more entertaining even than the P.K. Dick volume. Why? I don't know. The Dick volume is bemusing because it contrasts paranoid psychedelic prose with respectable bindings. I suppose the same goes for the Lovecraft book. I mean, there's just something so dang prosaic about the b/w photo and the red, white, and blue stripe. Like I want to write the editors and yell, "You know who this is, right? You know what his stories are about, right?" Or maybe I just hope there are tentacles inside.

Hey, Look! Winter!

So tomorrow it looks like it might actually snow, so OF COURSE tomorrow is the day a colleague and I have to road trip to Austin to meet with donors. Plus tomorrow night Scott wants me to forego Dollhouse to go to a math party. ARGH. Sigh. Hopefully it will all work out. Wish me luck!!!!
