Alleria stole coffee this morning. WHAT KIND OF DOG DOES THAT????

Scott was in town this weekend. We went to see Scott Pilgrim versus the World, which was adorable, and then watched Luke Wilson in Tenure which cracked both of us up because it's maybe one of the most (sadly) realistic films about academia ever.
We spent some time trying to line up our visiting schedules, and then fiddling around with Vent on the computer to help with our cell phone bills. FYI? Commuter marriages suck. Hopefully we'll only have to do this for a couple of years.
A funny-sad thing is how hard it is on the fur children. The cats and dog get really excited when Scott is here and then pout when he leaves.
Scott looks on the bright side and figures he can at least watch a lot of football in the airport sports bars.

In other news, obediently continuing the fic. It is now officially longer than Common Grounds and an end isn't in sight, though I've sketched in some notes for scenes to be written in several spots. The thing about not writing linearly is trying to figure out if there are gaps that need to be filled in because I've jumped around so much. So. It goes.
