So. I'm going to register for the GRE and start emailing professors for recommendation letters and putting a packet together for grad school.

The PhD thing? May become a reality.

Now that might not sound like much, but I was thinking about this in my office as I was chatting earlier today, and seriously, ten years ago I could not have even DREAMED this could be my life. I have awesome friends who care about me, awesome coworkers who make MONDAYS hilarious, an awesome fandom that does neat stuff (seriously, gang, the jim_and_bones folks are doing a fandom workshop for newbs? How cool is that!!!! I signed up as a mentor!), a geeky husband whom I love very much, and two adorable cats and one cracktastic puppy. ...I'm totally gonna die tomorrow, aren't I? Wait, no, I'm not in a Joss Whedon show, thank GODS...

Anyway, everyone has been so encouraging, and I'm just hopeful and kind of nattering here, but yeah, I had to share. :)
