If you were asked to pick one scene, one shot, one detail, one moment of some kind out of all the things I've made and say "This, this, for whatever reason, I remember, this is something that struck home with me, that I wanted to keep," what would it be?

Um, anyway, the epilogue to That Which They Defend where they're looking up at the stars, remembering Jim. It's just such a tender family moment and the perfect cap to an amazingly epic story.

Well, this isn't just one line, but the scene (can I do a scene? I'm gonna do a scene) in "True Love's First Kiss", where Bones is talking to Joanna about fairytales, and he's all:

"No, no, look, Sleeping Beauty kept waiting for her one true love and then spent her life cleaning house after a bunch of stinky dwarves...and then she had to spin straw into gold because her husband was too lazy to get a real job...and then she turned into foam because she had no soul!"

is what stuck in my head after reading and music-editing and reading-aloud the lovely fic....because I've described the same stories the same way in past rants. ;-)

Can I say all of the printer!AU or is that cheating??? I like Uhura's water breaking at the wedding, and Spock getting all flustered like she's going to give birth in the next few minutes over the potluck dinner.

That Xena xover with Bones as Cupid- when Uncle Hercules shows up. maybe it's my childhood Kevin Sorbo crush, but oh man. Gold.
