Faramir uses L'Oreal. OBVIOUSLY xD I think with Smeagol (baring in mind this is the first real analysis of it for me haha)is that it helps show what Frodo has in store if he doesn't give it up, because Smeagol was just like him, except he kept on slipping and then became Gollum. I wouldn't see him as sinned against, simply because yes the ring was an influence on the first murder, but that instinct to do so must have been there all the time and just magnified. But I could be talking out of my arse XD
