A Post I Don't Have the Energy to Write

caitriI had a truly absurd Thanksgiving, with the highlight/low point of being so gobsmacked by an offensive statement made by friends of the host that I likely just sat there with my mouth open. (The following 24 hours were filled by coming up with a number of cutting remarks I WISH I could have made at the time.) (I don't want to share the remark. Suffice to say it was one of the most offensive things I have ever heard, and whatever your mind comes up with probably doesn't do it justice.)
It's almost holiday season, and I am mired in trying to manage dissertation revisions, seasonal organization, moving household, and self-care. I am already exhausted.
