 The car is packed. Tomorrow we'll get up at ass'o'clock in the morning and drive to Illinois. 2 humans, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 1 car, 16 hours.

Oh my! Have safe travels! I'm assuming that you'll be taking this trip in two days. Either way, may the roads be dry. May the road snacks be yummy, and may you find great radio stations along the way! I stand waiting to welcome you to the Upper Midwest!

Pffft, sane people would do a trip like that in two days. WE did a sixteen hour marathon, leaving at 1:30 am and getting in at 7pm. Then yesterday we bought groceries, pet supplies, and painting supplies!! %-)

Tell me about it. *I* assumed we'd probably leave at 3am or so. Instead Scott woke me at 12:45 and was like "Wanna go to Illinois? I can't sleep!"
