Young Blades confuses me sometimes

caitriWhat was the point of tonight's ep? A third of it was flashbacks to other eps, a third was actually moving the plot forward, and then the final bit was an inexplicable let's break that fourth wall with a cameo by a (strangely white) Alexander Dumas.
