I'm alive!

Surgery Friday went well, I suppose. I was released midafternoon and have been camping in our basement, where we have our tv room and a nearby bathroom. I am held together by glue but am healing well. They gave me painkillers but those didn't seem to do much so I basically stopped taking them Saturday night. Because of said glue it's a challenge to get into a comfy position for sleeping, but I've been bingewatching tv (I rewatched all of The Witcher and Bridgerton, and a host of romcom films). I'm getting well enough to be bored, which is probably a good sign.
