caitri Dutifully turned up to my appointment for a biopsy only to discover it was only a consultation for one.
"I don't know why everyone who comes here thinks that," said the P.A.
"It's because the online patient portal literally says that the appointment is for a stereostatic biopsy," said I.
So biopsy still forthcoming. If they don't call me to schedule by end of the day Tuesday, I am to call them. I am deeply irritated. Also, somehow, less scared than I was--and I was scared in the waiting room, scared almost to dizziness and nausea. (Note to self: Pack crackers when I go to the real thing.) But on the 0-6 BIRADS scale I am a 4a, which is "suspicious anomaly, likely benign," so it's all due diligence. But grr.
