So Andrew's going to be in DC on Saturday as the family puts the fun in dysfunctional for a trip to Kentucky, primarily I suspect to show off to friends and families the adorableness that is Nico. He hopes to sneak out with the wean to see friends some point that day and I get the highest priority for a visit (as I bloody well should!) because of best-friend status. I am trying to not get too hopeful about it, and I feel kind of funny about it too as, though things are pretty mended now, I still can't help remembering the unfunness of our last meeting. But I want to see my pseudo-nephew, and assure him in person that, even though he is only seven weeks old, I'm always here for him, and when he gets older I will be happy to provide comics, geek paraphenalia, and bail when needed.

In other news, the outting Jim and I were thinking about isn't going to happen, which is a pity, but maybe just as well since we're both so exhausted anyway. I just wish I could nail down a job soon so I could go on vacation. I know I just need patience and perseverence, and stuff, but the whole process just gets me down sometimes, and I just want a break and some fun.
