That which yields...

Now that I've finally gotten lj to cooperate:
Much appreciation and affection to Jim and Andrew for their big brotherliness over the Dave Debacle. Nothing says "I care" like graphic depictions of disembowelment. Actually, now that the shock's worn off, I'm not that bad off, just bemused. Chalk it up to writerliness, I suppose.
In semi-related news (authority file: Things That Keep Me From a Good Night's Rest) I got another note from the hospital saying they still haven't finished processing my records. WTF? It's been over a month! Oh well, they're quick enough to stick you with needles, but ask for a photocopy of it and that becomes an issue. I just hope they don't charge me for the stamps they put on the letters (three or four so far).
I wish I had something fun to do this weekend--it looks like it will be errands and homeworky things. Which is apropos for the schizophrenic weather, but I would like to do something fun-based!!
