"Please Step Away From the Art!" plus: So Close Yet So Far

Came home to find package from Overstock.com--the long awaited new Harry Potter!! Quickly ripped it open to find they'd sent the wrong one (I got the deluxe edition with the alternative artwork, cos, um, I'm a nerd like that)! ARGH! So I have to go through the whole return rigamarole now. I've already taped it back up in the box to more easily resist temptation.

Spent a fun day yesterday hanging out with neomagusx. We got too close to the pictures in the National Air and Space Museum and set-off an automated thingie telling us to Please Step Away From the Art. Like it's our fault we couldn't figure out what it was!! Oh well.

I am zonked. Neighbor Person is out walking the dog and I'm enjoying my roomies being gone. Hear that? It's QUIET! *S*S*S*

Okay, Not So Alone

Turn out Neighbor Person is staying over. So much for the place to myself! Oh well, she can't be any worse than the others, and at least I don't have to take care of the dog!

Unrelated: WHY does every place suddenly have HP6 reviews?? I'm trying to remain spoiler-free, dammit!!
