BECAUSE I GOT A JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yup, Art Institute of Washington called me up today and gave me an offer I couldn't refuse in the non-mafia sense of the way. Actually it's very cool, I get starter pay of $35k and then an incremental increase every year! Also, since they have 74 schools throughout the country, if I ever get the notion to wander it'll be relatively easy to relocate and still keep my job. Sweet!!!
I'll be working nights a couple times a week though, and Saturdays. I'm starting an apartment hunt in Arlington though and am hopeful.
A very cool bit is that the librarian who hired me and who'll be working with me said I got "sparkling" recommendations which makes me feel all shiny about myself. :D
Anyhow I want to do something to celebrate next week. Who's up for, umm, dunno what, but something?!!!!
