ADD Bloggergirl, or, Did You Know That Mother Theresa Worked with the Lephrechauns?

So I *meant* to be productive today. I've got article revisions to do, stuff to read, etc. But I woke up this morning and it's like, y'know, fuck it. I worked yesterday, I can totally take it easy sometimes.

BUT I cna't concentrate on anything. Grr. So Scott and I went to Barnes & Nobles to get sugary drinks and browse. I got a marble macchiato, Neal Stephenson's Anathem, and the new Lapham's which is about Medicine. This led to an interesting conversation with Scott in the coffeeshop as we started talking about leprosy, and over the sound of numerous conversations and espresso machines I kept hearing "leper colonies" as "leprechauns." Um, yeah.

Anyhow I was disappointed they didn't carry the new issue of American Scholar as it has an article about the decline of university English departments. It is online but I'd like a hardcopy I can shelve reasonably easily. As it is I envision printing this article out, sticking it in a book, and it getting lost in the dustmotes of time and my double-stacked shelves. Sigh.

So I think I'm going to go play WoW now. Incidentally my Alliance toon has joined Scott's guild and hijinks will probably ensue.
