A Tentative Aphorism
Nov. 1st, 2010 06:51 pmSo Todd "invited" me to come up with an aphorism for the chapbook his class is making, since I'm an honorary member and all (read: I subbed once and I volunteered to help with the workshop sessions). I asked if I could quote Common Grounds and he said maybe. So I thought about it and decided to come up with a couple lines Pike would use with Printer!Jim. So:
Books are funny things, really: You take bits of paper and ink, thread and glue, and you make a new world out of them. Think about it. That's something, isn't it? Nothing quite like it, either.
