5) I don't think it makes sense for the starships to be built planetside: how are they going to get off the ground with the engines where they are? (We can already intuit they can't as is because of the whole saucer construction thing as witnessed in ST:TNG.)
6) I love that Simon Pegg is Scotty.
7) I'm not sure how I feel about Uhura's toplessness.
