Hmm.
1) Violence against women: repeatedly seen as the brutal thing it is.
2) The ambiguous ending: No matter the grey of "the tragic bujillionaire" he still had sex with a brainwashed woman. It was even pointed out.
3) Echo and Narcissus (Ballard).
4) The multiple views of the dollhouse through people on the street. It's like Peace Corps/Human Trafficking/Awesome/Horrible.
