In Baltimore
Nov. 25th, 2009 04:26 pmGot in last night. Oh it's nice to be back in a place where restaurants are open after 10pm. Where there are free museums. Good stores. Etc.
We went to Miss Shirley's for breakfast this morning. Yum!!!! Then we went to the Walters Art Museum for a while, then shopping at Trader Joe's (we bought a stash of coffee, chocolates, and other dry goods to take home to TX) where we bought a box of mango ice cream mochis and ate them all in the hotel room. Scott also bought a new fleece (Alleria ate his last week) while I browsed at B&N (I didn't get anything, but there's a galaxy of difference between the books bought and arranged on tables at a College Station BN and a Towson, MD BN. For instance, I very much doubt they have even 1 copy of a Glen Beck book at the MD shop, let alone a large arrangement.).
Tonight will be going out with friends, then tomorrow my work starts.
