Story here. I never bothered watching any of it (I gave up on Trek halfway through DS9/beginning of Voyager) but all the same. It's a FUCKING institution, man! So what if it blows, they were gonna explain how the Klingons got their crab-heads this year!
It's just another genre bias. Actors have abandoned ER over years like friggin' rats on a boat and do they dump that? NO.
