I try to do too much, then get overwhelmed.
I have a crapload of WIPs, plus three more fics I want to write for friends, cos I like doing that.
I have two scenes written for an original novel. I want to finish that.
I have rl deadlines: a paper to present in November, and a book chapter due in December. Plus a couple of papers in progress and a database to finish, and a short essay I'm drafting for a work group.
Processing to do. A department to run. An exhibit to go up in two months.
I want to apply to grad school. I take the GRE in a couple weeks.
There's also a certificate program in Desktop Publishing I'd like to do for work, except juggling taking classes with teaching classes (six are coming in this week, btw).
WHY can't I settle down to do just any ONE of these things, before wandering to the next? Or managing to handle a couple of them solidly at once?
