• This will create a never ending cycle of icon glee.

gadgetorious picked these for me:

By
avictoriangirl. She made this for me after I posted my Cupid!Bones fic Once Shot, Twice Shy because she thought this line should be immortalized via icon. I love it deeply.

I have no idea who made this or where I got it, but I adore HBO's Rome and I adore Lucius Vorenus. I just....do. That is all.

By
gadgetorious. Dr. Horrible meets Reboot. My love for it, let me show you it.

By
gadgetorious. This one is keyworded as "Ample Nacelles." That is all I can really say about that. Sometimes I am deep and mostly I am...not. :D

By
vivid_moment. "I like this 'ship. It's exciting!" This icon expressed everything I think and feel about my fandom of choice. The end.

This one was posted fairly recently but I don't remember where and I forgot to put in the note because I suck. BUT. I love this icon. Jim and Johnny Cash are like the OTP of my brain. (Have you READ any of my fic?? Then you KNOW.) Also, it cracks me the hell up. :D

I made this one from the images released for Lieutenant of Inishmore. I was writing one of the stories in my Comstock King AU at the time and while I had cowboy karl icons I didn't have anything of Captain Fine that came close and then out came those pics and I made grabby hands. The colouring and his clothing could make him my Kirk from the Wild West era. I love the expression on his face, as it can fit a few different situations.
Ahh the infamous crotch icon! Well when I was making the icons from the images I had for the Irrefutable Truth about Demons, there was one of him leaning backwards and that little reveal of belly. How could I not capture that? People have discussed the length of his fingers etc and I've sat about 2 metres away from him with a certain part of him at my eye level and tried desperately hard not to stare. I failed. The man is blessed.
Eomer of the clean teeth!
It amuses me how white his teeth are and I so want to add text to this of "Look mum I cleaned my teeth!" My brain is warped. Tolkein I loved as a kid and I have the complete set of lotr with the plates. I hate opening those books to read because I just don't want to damage how beautiful they are. I should stop and just read them and not worry about hurting them.
Another one from the Irrefutable Truth about Demons. I love the colouring, the books that remind me so much of any academics office, things piled all over the place. Hoarders they are! It is very purdy and anytime I need to reference books, I use this one. I need to talk about books more often, don't I?

Date: 2010-09-24 02:31 am (UTC)An ex bought it for me, so he did manage to do some good things ;)
When I worked for a Student Association at another Uni, my office was actually a broom closet. It was listed on the plan as that! :D
Oh god, once I start talking about my love of Pratchett we may never stop :D

Date: 2010-09-24 02:47 am (UTC)I adored my little broom closet, it had in it a huge old school wooden desk, a huge old style desktop PC, three filing cabinets, a fax machine, a photocopier AND my kinder surprise collection. The students had a competition once as to how many students could be fitted into my office without disturbing the kinder surprises :D

Date: 2010-09-24 03:03 am (UTC)Oh boy, Keg on the Hill is an institution at where I used to work. I used to tell them how much they were allowed to spend on kegs before the function. I would come to work on Monday with at least double that in a bill waiting on my desk. They did dump two huge buckets of money on my desk which more than paid for it, so it was ok. The downside was that the ute was still up on the hill, stuck down firm in the mud as the night they had it, it pissed down with rain and the ute got bogged. :D I miss those nutters at times.

Date: 2010-09-24 03:05 am (UTC)No kegs though. Being an American is...really dull sometimes.
