So I'm doing better--the fever has diminished but now I have sinusey issues. Blargh! So I spent the better part of the day on the couch dozing in and out watching movies.

Anyhow, I rewatched the Heath Ledger Casanova and my feverish brain realized that Chris Pine really needs to be in a movie like that. Also that Casanova's background with the absent mother promising to return for him and a sideways obsession with seduction really could work for NuKirk and I totally want that AU now but I don't want to write it.

Also started the great Common Grounds/Red/Castle crossover crack fic o' doom. Questions for readers:
1) Should Frank and Sarah make a cameo?
2) How many Supernatural jokes?
3) Title?????

“Totes,” Alexis calls over Castle’s shoulder.

“Sweet,” Jim says, and disappears back into the other room.

Alexis grins at him. “That was a lie. I totally ‘ship Sam/Dean.”

“Never tell me,” Castle says hurriedly.

Soooo, I'm not sure whether that's good or bad? gadgetorious disapproves but I find it amusing, but that could be the Dayquil talking.

No, I'm still in, and we are down to 5 people, so I'm really exited about it, but I was really late writing my drabble this week (we had a picture prompt and I just couldn't find my muse), so I had to send it in unbeta-ed. But if I make it to next week, a drabble will make its way to you soonish.

Anything that very disrespectfully mocks the awesomeness that is Sam and Dean and the Impala. This however I can laugh at as a fan, I'm not feeling insulted on behalf of the show at all.

If I ship anything at all it's RPF Jensen and Jared.

Not that I morally object against some Wincest, I've read my fair share of everything in SPN fandom and you know the boys make for very good PWP, but I think it is rarely done well or realistically.

So if it is pure SPN fic we are talking about, I actually like gen case fic best followed by some good pre-season 1 wee!chesters with John.

I also think it's really hard to write real good SPN fic, so I usually stick to RPF, whereas for STXI I am much more comfortable writing about the characters, not the actors.

And to make this long answer even longer....anything that ships Cas is out. I can see the appeal, since it gets rid of all the Wincest, but it's just not my thing :D
