Okay here's some thoughts for you:

*(because gadg has me watching Supernatural) Jim and his big brother Sam are hunters, and they've been tracking the demon that killed their Dad when they were kids and more recently their Mom. During a fight, Jim sacrifices himself for his brother and dies. He wakes later, brought back by angel named Leonard who is intent on yelling at him constantly. HIJINKS ENSUE.

*Tangled mashup. Leonard McCoy has been stuck in a tower by his powerful (literal) witch of a wife. He secretly dreams of being a doctor. And then one day a wily thief named Jim Kirk breaks in.... BONUS POINTS if the horse is there and is named after one of the crew!

*Jim Kirk and Leonard McCoy are both academics. Jim is an awesome teacher and hates publishing; Bones is a weak teacher (students are scared of him, he's tough, whatever) but a great writer. The crew are other members of the department and Pike is the chair. Tell about their committee meetings, teaching assignments, and what Pavel Chekov's dissertation defense was like. *G*

OMG...your last prompt reminded me about the college/PhD AU I started writing for BigBang and never finished. It has Bones as a grumpy last year PhD student finishing his thesis (what do you mean using my own RL in fic?)and Jim is an undergrad who's coming into his lab to do some independent research. McCoy is all "I don't have time to explain science to some stupid undergrad who doesn't know how to hold a pipet", but Prof. Dr. Pike tells him to shut and and do it because he's sure it says somewhere PhD students have to clock teaching hours and Leonard is severly lacking. Shenanigans ensue.....

This also reminds me of the fact that I have a paper I have to finish before friday because I'm meeting my Prof. to discuss the dreadfull thesis.

Also, that TANGLED AU is calling my name. I just have to go and see the movie first. But there will defintely be a talking horse. It's name will be Spock and it will be all logical :D

Well I could send you the measly part I got written...*goes and runs off to see if file is findable*....oh look there it is, all 10K of it..... and you can give me your esteemed opinion about what's there already and if it's worth finishing.

In the mean time I can finish my RL paper, send it to the prof, field some questions of the gazillion shippers who don't understand their first prompt and have some time free to write some more by say.....the weekend :D

It's about to be on its way. And full of horrendous spelling mistakes and lacking like a gazillion comma's, but it'll have to do for now. I have to reread the thing just to remmeber myself what it was about and where I was going.

But Bones is researching fish and Jim is double majoring in Biology and Engineering, designing chips with Chekov, so the thing is very aptly called Fish and Chips....I must have been severly sleep deprived from new job and moving across the country stress when I made that one up :D

I haven't been able to use my Torchwood icons lately (and I don't intend to with the new season, Rusty has severely burnt his bridges with me with his attitude towards the fans) so it was great to get Jack out there again!

He did to me too, if Gwen was around, cause JB and Eve couldn't resist both trying to play to the back stalls. Eve with her soap training and him with his stage stuff neither of them knew how to pull back and reign it in. And now the new one will have Jack and Gwen together again *gags*

But when you had Jack with Owen or Ianto or Tosh, then there was the lovely Jack that I adored. Those moments were great and brought out the best in JB, he needs the 'quieter' actors to really get to the heart of Jack. Like he had with Nine as well.
