Okay I think I loved this movie the way most people loved Inception. There were actual tears of glee at the end. A couple reviewers had a problem with the mashup aspects of the romcom with the PKD, but omfg you HAD to have the former to care about the plot with the latter.

And the whole film is a love note to NYC. The doors!! I could have watched ninety minutes of just cutting through the buildings and streets!!!

I'm just ridiculously happy right now. I want to go again!!!!!!

I totally agree with everything you just said. When it finished I turned to my friend and said "so that was just everything I expected Inception to be." And the fact that it was all NYC was just extra amazing!

I KNOW. I really think that helped ground the whole thing in the reality of this world, because there were SO many scenes where they just emphasized the city over everything else. Just love!!

W00t!!! I feel the same way! Inception was ok, but it just didn't do anything for me. The Adjustment Bureau however was totes made of win. ♥!!!

Yeah, there was just so much wonderful in there. And of course my overheated little brain wants to figure out how to do a mashup for the boys with it. *has a fucking addiction*

I really want to see this! Not sure when i will, though, because it can be hard to get my friends to the movies, and I totally spaced on the chance to see it with a movie-fan meetup last week. I'm glad it's good, though!

I think this is one I'd actually recommend seeing in the theater if at all possible. While not as visually demanding as most science fiction films, a lot of the wide city panoramas just need to be seen in that widescreen format.
