Cleaning Picspam!
Jul. 24th, 2011 09:01 pmSo I'm really stressed and have a bunch of things going on, and, well, cleaning is the best form of procrastination.
So I spent the weekend cleaning the house.
My living room:

I put up a bunch of books on the shelves instead of my table, vacuumed, and collected the cloth bags I use for shopping that tend to double as excellent nap-spaces for felines. (They were unimpressed with this.)
The game room:

Okay all you can really see is my desk here, but I cleaned it off, and put all my future textbooks together with other school supplies. I like to think this will be my study space, but, well, my zine collection is right there. Less helpful, no?
The kitchen:

Okay the thing here is mostly invisible, as I hunted through the pantry disposing of outdated food. This led to odd discoveries, like Scott apparently found a sale on olives at World Market in 2008. (That was....dubious.) Also, I am in possession of eighteen boxes of tea, four of which are Red Zinger. IDEK.
The former guest room/study/whatever:

Yeah, so this used to be the guest room until Scott moved to Atlanta and, y'know, needed a bed. So in the meantime it's been kind of a defacto storage room. There was a lot of vacuuming done back here, let me just say. With any luck it might become my printshop/studio. We'll see.
So yeah, that was my weekend. Kinda...productive. Yay? Anyhow, it is Sunday night and I'm figuring out how to unwind. I've tried writing a bit but the Block is still problematic. I got 252 words and still call it Win. *sigh*
