SIDEWAYSEDLY RELATED: I asked Todd if I could, instead of writing a CIA Agent Chris and Karl story where they don't end up together, I could instead write a Thor/Midnight in Paris x-over with Loki. He was too bemused/bewildered to do anything but say yes. *bounces gleefully* Would it be too too much for Gabriel to have a walk on of some kind, d'you think? Only you and I would have to get it. <_<

Okay one thing that occured to me after watching "Hammer of the Gods." Okay, so if Gabriel is hiding incognito as Loki, was he impersonating a real Loki or has he ALWAYS been Loki? If he has ALWAYS been Loki, this would explain why Baldur greeted him without surprise, but does this imply that Gabriel has been hiding out since...when? Obviously 30 CE he was still in angel mode since he had to go have a chat with Mary, so when did he go into his own witness protection program??

That's a point that fandom doesn't seem to agree on but all things considered, I don't think it really makes any sense for there to be another Loki. So MY answer is just that he is Loki, but you won't get the same answer from everyone you ask.
