Well, I don't know if it's an unpopular opinion, but I definitely saw Hank as being kind of a jerk about the whole 'visible mutation thing' to Raven. Actually, I had a hard time reconciling the characterization of Hank in XMFC with the Hank we see in X3...until I realized that he's a teenage boy in XMFC, and all teenage boys go through the phase best described as "being a dick".

Yeah, I thought it was a great way of showing that how he became who did, because by being a dick he basically helped push someone who was otherwise a pretty sweet person into going all dark side. Something like that would totally make you rethink all your responses to other people, to want to act as the diplomat and peacekeeper, etc.
