Ridiculously busy, but this morning on the way to work this question occured to me?

Did Captain America ever meet Alan Turing when he was stationed in Britain? Does he find out what happened to him when he awakes in the present and trying to find out what happened to everyone he knew.

Yeah, this is the stuff I contemplate. Moving on.

Hmmm... Turing did work on breaking the Enigma Machine, but I can't see why the two would ever have met in that course of work... but maybe at some banquet or something honouring both of them? IDK. But considering what happened to Turing, it could be a marvelous plot device in a Steve/Tony fic...

IKR? I have nothing beyond the concept of Steve meeting Turing because of the Enigma machine, his horror at what happened to him, and then trying to deal with, y'know, Tony, who doesn't really "get" that.

Well, Turing and Howard could have been friends... Or maybe Steve just discovers Wikipedia and the art of web surfing ang looks up himself and WWII and the enigma machine and stumbles across what happened to Turing in one of those strange games of follow the related links...?

He may have. Tt's been made known in passing that Nick and the commandos have met him so, I just toss Steve and Bucky in too. I think one of major busting out POWs covert ops was started becasue of one of Turing's code breaking an SS messive.

Now I have to go back ish hunting.

Partly found some sucsess!!! Nick, Bucky(aww he was so cute and young!) and Logan were in the room when an SS missve was traslated. They were going to do some testing on American POWs. So Steve was being sent in as Catain Steve Rogers to get caught and break the POWs out from the inside. With the help of the resistance get them safly back to England.
