I've noticed through lj, tumblr, and Facebook that it seems that women unilaterally love the Veronica Mars movie and men unilaterally hate it (esp. Logan in his hot, hot uniform, second only to where VM ends).

Faaaaaaaaaaascinating.

Care to discuss?

My fiance is a boy, and he quite liked it. Then again, I doubt I'd be marrying someone who doesn't like stories with strong female leads :)

*lol* Awesome, so that's the first boy of my admittedly teeny sample size to like it.

Scott abstained because he was neutral on VM the series--IDEK how that's possible but wev; two guys I know on FB hated it and got all ranty.

In contrast, five women all loved it.

I didn't see it, and didn't watch the show, but a guy on my facebook feed loved it, he even went to the fan event. He also linked to a positive movie review written by a man:
