So there's a journal that's had an essay of mine for two years, I haven't heard anything from them in exactly a year, I wrote a week ago to be all "sup?" and the editor wrote back a two line email that nonetheless did not answer me! Augh!!

As it happens, I just got another email that said, "Oh yeah, it's at the printer's, you'll have copy-edits soon!" So, uh, yay.

Welp, could be worse. Scott had an article for a journal for two years, which they then rejected because "it had been done." Which, yeah "it had been done" after he submitted the article, by someone else with a better review system.
