1) I'd actually heard That Plot Twist was a theory about Lorca and had dismissed it as crazy talk. WOW.

2) Paul/Hugh - my heart hurts even more now.

3) Emperor Phillipa is so bamf.

Annnnnnnd we only have three episodes left. *flail* I have no idea how they are going to resolve all this. Wow.

Which of the two Lorca plot twists? Mirror!Lorca, which I was prepared for and thought the most logical explanation by now, or Daddy!Lorca? That one blew my mind -- I had in no way expected that, but it does prove some fans right, who read a strange and more intimate dynamic into at the very least how how Lorca views Burnham (beyond, Hey, Pretty Lady, I mean).

Mirror!Lorca. I would love to know when they told Jason Isaacs about that reveal--if they told him early on or if he got to find out later. I'd read the theory but had dismissed it; I thought his PTSD narrative made sense (and Occam's Razor--regular guy caught up in the hell of war OR maniac from another dimension, hmm).

TBH I thought his vibe with Michael felt like, you know, Fleet Dad to me. And the scenes where it was clear he had figured out Michael and Ash got together and was checking to see if they were okay felt like "Fleet Dad wants his two kids to be okay" to me.
