A Book a Day: The Democratic Genre

 Every day I'm posting a picture of a book I like. This one is the first book to talk about fic as a literary form versus a sociological exercise. Pugh is a poet and creative writing professor, so it's basically about literary forms and tropes. For a long time it was my go-to book to talk about what fic actually DOES rather than what the people who write it are doing.
