A Book a Day: To Write Like a Woman
Jul. 7th, 2020 02:55 pm Every day I'm posting a picture of a book you like. You've probably had to listen to my love for How to Suppress Women's Writing at length, so here's another nonfiction book by Russ, this one a collection of her essays. What I particularly like about this book is that, for a volume of academic essays that were often previously published in journals or collections, it's astonishingly readable and coherent. It also shows off just how gd knowledgeable Russ was on topics as varied as genre, theory, aesthetics, and author biography. She was so awesome.
