caitriGo to my former classmate Keith's blog for some interesting commentary on the human, cultural, and political aspects of Katrina. Salon also has some great coverage, as well as a look at the looting/finding photos controversy.
Take a moment and think about it: we just lost a whole city. 9/11 took out some buildings, and this took out a WHOLE CITY. New Orleans will never be rebuilt, not really: they'll do something about the port, but aside from that? Developers are going to be hiding for years.
