Sciencing in My Dreams

 I just remembered last night's dream and need to share it because it was fun! I dreamed that an alien spaceship had been discovered and was being studied--the context was maybe archaeological?? There was no alien around anyhow. It was being studied to figure out how it worked because it resembled a small silver egg with no windows or anything, and the inside was smooth and empty--no controls or anything (also no bathrooms!), and could only comfortably fit one and a maximum of two adult human-sized beings. I was somehow on a team studying it and we were figuring out that it worked by sensing movement / shifts in weight in the interior, and were trying to extrapolate how to guide it. We had gotten as far as lean forward to go forward, lean back to slow down. Someone else on the team realized that the necessities of navigation in space at FTL speeds would require not just wild dexterity but possibly additional limbs, and from there we were trying to extrapolate what the aliens might look like. A+ good dream, thank you, brain.
